Weekly Want

I am almost angered at myself that I even want one, but it has to be said...I WANT A BEANIE!!! There I said it, it's out of the way now. The ones I've seen on Ebay are pretty cute and quite cheap and very chic. I know it is major hipster, but with my own festival season starting in November (hiya Big Reunion) I think it would be the perfect accessory to have. Especially when I am going to be in Skegyness and in freezing cold conditions. Brilliant !

The one I am wearing above is from Topshop and I purchased it a few Winters ago due to the tops of my ears constantly being cold. Practical of me I know. Here are a few I have spotted on the net.

Ebay:
Spiked military beanie
Burgundy beanie

An account of how I ended up with £0.09 in my bank account

So I was convinced this month that my card had been duplicated and some very fashionable person was purchasing random amounts of clothes at all the same shops I also love. Turns out I just got a likkle carried away with the spending. But come on! Could you have said no to the amazing bargains I picked up? No, I hope the answer is to that question.

First picture- Asos- I have had my eye on this dress for quite some time, but I couldn't justify spending £40 on a dress that I haven't really got an occasion to wear for it. A miracle came in a form of boredom when I saw it on the sale for £23 and being lost for ideas as to what to wear to my godsons upcoming christening (naturally with a cardigan over the top for the church ceremony part)

Second picture- Urban Outfitters- You can see from previous posts (I should turns this post into a weekly want turned into a now have) that I adore these Vadeuville and Burlesque dresses. The color is just another perk to the dress. A real grunge 90s salmon pink. Originally £85, then put down to £40 in the sale and on top of student discount it came to a steal at £35. COME ON WHO COULD HAVE SAID NO!

Third picture- Missguided- Finally I plucked up the courage to order it. Originally £45 and with student discount it came to £39 and free next day delivery. I am still undecided by this coat, I love the style and coloring on my skin tone, but there is something about the fit on the arms that I find quite bizarre. I think it will grow on me though. I am disappointed to see that Missguided only goes up to a size 12 in coats. Although I myself am a 12, I always prefer to go up a size in coats so that it is a little more baggy and comfortable so that I can layer up underneath.

Fourth picture- Primark- This ladies and gentlemen is my new University bag. Practical and stylish. And a steal at £9 thanks to my Aunt (as a going back to university gift). I love the camel color its different, and it gives the bag a whole non-primark feeling. Always a score

Love for my nails: Neon Edition

So as I've previously mentioned, I have a slightly Jeremy Kyle (or Jerry Springer if you are not familiar with English talk shows) relationship with the color Pink. So I thought i'd give you a peak at my nails before I had to take them off for work (sad face). Whilst on my travels though I picked up this color from Golden Rose in color 324. It instantly caught my eye and I was please when I put it on that it was as neon as it looked in the bottle. At an eye catching £2 it was a bit of a steal so I decided I needed more. I picked up a pastel yellow in 323 and a blood red in 262.

Just another boring Thursday night

OOTN:
Shirt-H&M
Jeans- Topshop
Jacket- Primark
Shoes- Jeffrey Campbell, Foxys
Satchel- Vintage

Or not, because I dear Readers can tick off of my Bucket List that I not only attended a Fashion Show, but a Fashion show at London Fashion Week!!! Courtesy of Vodafone and a very loyal best friend (Jade) I attended one of the most amazing experiences of my life at Somerset House.

We set off for war 5.45 (due to Jade having work) and had a look around all the amazing pop-up boutiques. I got a tiny-insy-winsy bit starstruck when I came face to face with the lovely Sandra Hagelstam from 5 Inch and Up. I have been following her blog for at least a year and a half and reading about her collection for Nelly. I slowly went over making my way through racks of Cheap Monday clothing and with a little encouragement from Jade worked up the guts to go and finally speak to her. AND SHE WAS LOVELY. I on the other hand was so nervous and shaking (stay tuned for pictures) and couldn't stop babbaling. It was amazing to finally see her collection in the flesh. The key pieces for me was the Ringa dress and also the amazing Cross shoes. The dress was something I had been looking at specifically on her blog, and when I finally got to see it in the flesh I think it has to be added to my wardrobe, the material and cut is worth every penny.

We then went on to the show which debuted clothing from both the Highstreet and more higher end clothing stores. Considering I was taking photos on my blackberry I am relatively proud of my little phone (it doesn't work half the time, but boy can it take photos). Tulisa also played at the show and as much as I hate to love her, both myself and Jade were singing all the words to the old school N-Dubz tunes. All in all, what an amazing evening. Feet were a little sore though....

How I spend my days

After being home for a week I finally un-packed (well cleaned up all the clothes off the floor from pouring them out of my suitcase), and boy was it a mission. However, it won't be the biggest task, oh no, that will be washing all of the clothes...sigh. Along with un-packing I took on the great task of cleaning. Finally put up my Adele poster (ultimate single girl status right there) and my new dream catcher which I got when I was in Ibiza for six euros.

I am literally counting down the days until I move into my student housing and start back at UNAYYYY. As fun as this summer has been, I need to get back to some form of routine and education. All this Laguna Beach and Come Dine With Me is actually making me stupid (and go insane). Till the 30th I am slowly suffering on a diet of reality TV.

Outfit of the day:
Jeans: Topshop
Top: Topshop
Shoes: Converse
Hoodie: American Apparel
Denim Jacket: Vintage Wrangler
