Granny freak in the sheets
My mum got me these really cute vintage sheets from an antique shop in West Hampstead. Think they are soo cute! Also picked up some wooden canvases of Kurt Cobain and David Bowie from St Lukes Hospice in Stanmore for 49 p each! Love charity shops, some people can't handle the looking through all the clothes but I find it so relaxing. I can't handle it though if its in big shops, like Primark and H&M, it just stresses me out having to fight with people for breathing space

Healthy eating...or not
Has anyone else found that a week before you are meant to go on holiday you just cant stop stuffing your face? No? Just me then. I don't know what it is. It's like my body knows I am going away to a hot country were bikini wearing is mandatory. In a last ditch attempt to shift a few pounds (or stones) I have tried (and failed) to be as healthy as I possibly can this week.

Lovin the sun
As I said previously, I was in the process of dip dying my ends lavender. Voila, the end product. Not as strong as I want it to be, so am going to intensify it next week before I go to Ibiza. Cheeky OOTD also. Picked the dress up from Zara in the sale, was originally £50 and I got it for £17.99. Bargain bin
Chipped nails and boredom= Something weird
I had my nails Chelsea Square Rose Gold by Nails Inc but it chipped off (in one day!!!) so with boredom reaching new levels I did my tips Organdy by Chanel. Possibly the most girly nails I've ever had, don't know how to feel about this
Weekly want
Topshop- £65 |
Miss Guided- £45.99 |
Grandmas Washing Line- £20 (can be found on Asos marketplace) |
So with pay-day (and student loan day) coming that bit closer I am already lining up a number of things to buy. Although I'm off to Ibiza in a week and then Bulgaria in two weeks holiday clothing isn't even on my mind. The one thing I do have my eye on is a coat. The coat in particular I'm lusting on is the army jackets in Topshop and online at Asos and Miss Guided. They range in price and quality but the look and idea is still there. For the real money strapped, there are some amazing pieces on Ebay and Asos Marketplace. I think I am more likely to be buying the Miss Guided coat, but be warned the quality when trying on clothes from Miss Guided is so hit and miss, SO BE WARNED!!!

Love for my nails
The greatest accessory to an outfit.....NAIL POLISH. And with my recent boredom and inspiration from the WAH! Nails pop up book, I have started to try free hand designs. (day off from work and this is what I achieve)
Nail polishes used:
First photo: All Barry M colors
Last Photo: Models Own, Beach Party, Hed Kandi Collection
Another successful day shopping on a minus bank account
With more and more things and purchases I need in my life, walking around the local highstreet you can imagine for me is like an alcoholic in a pub. However, thanks to my most prized possession, my UCAS card, I can shop on the cheap. Here are my likkle purchases I picked up today. And don't judge me on my pick n mix obsession and Wilkinsons' tea tree make-up wipes at 69p.
Dress: Topshop (£20, £18 after student discount)
Love Lavender
After re-dip dying the ends of my hair a more lighter and intense shade of blonde I am now ready for the next stage of Lavender tips. I gave my hair a one day break due to the ends being quite dry after the bleaching process. Big tip (excuse the pun) for the ombre stage is to use Mystic Oil, it puts life back into not just my ends but the whole of my hair. It also puts off split ends (and the Hairdresser for a while). I'll be using Crazy Color in no.54 Lavender and at £3.49 (including a tinting brush) it sits happily in my student budget.
Introduction to me and my everyday
Currently a student at the University of Reading, studying History, with a sick addiction to shopping and everything fashionable. Strapped for cash but thankfully an overdraft and a student loan save me when my payday from my part-time job is spent up and when Topshop have a sale on.
